Uncovered: Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

Tenner Kiersten White has a cover for her debut young adult novel PARANORMALCY. I saw it and immediately thought, "Even if I knew nothing about this book, I would buy this book on its cover art alone!"

It is beautiful and has a haunting quality that is sure to make it leap off the shelves. It's definitely striking, in my opinion. Read all about Kiersten's excitement on her blog, Kiersten Writes.

Coming from HarperTeen on September 21, 2010.

Sixteen-year-old Evie’s job is bagging and tagging paranormals. Possessing the strange ability to see through their glamours, she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency. But when someone–or something–starts taking out the vamps, werewolves, and other odd beasties she’s worked hard to help become productive members of society, she’s got to figure it out before they all disappear and the world becomes utterly normal.

  1. It is a striking cover, if I came across it in the book store it would at least entice me to pick up the book and read the back. I love how the glowing title stands out against the dark background.

  2. I think the setting is GORGEOUS (I love the pussywillows!), but the girl is too skinny and reminds me of Drusilla from BTVS. If she had dark hair, it would basically be her. But it's a really awesome cover. I just have to complain about SOMETHING because it's what I do.dess

  3. Just wanted to let you know there is an award for you over on my page http://www.starshadowblog.com/2010/03/award.html

  4. I think the cover looks great and the premise is interesting. I've been following Kiersten's blog for a while now, and she is one author I will definitely be supporting.

  5. This book is already on my wishlist! The cover is gorgeous and I love the storyline!
